Part of the application for payment process is to have the application and the lien waiver for each job notarized before the documents are uploaded into the system. Prior to using the notary feature in GCPay, notarizing documents was time-consuming for the Bloom Construction team.
When Gail needed applications and stat dec notarized, she would go to the bank to see if a notary was available. Many times, there wasn’t someone available so she would drive 30 minutes to another notary to get the documents authenticated. The Covid shutdown made it even more difficult to find anyone who could help.
